Notch pretty much confirmed that 1.8 won't be compatible with older maps! What do we do!?

Now you cant set all actions to mouse button or keyboard including breaking and placing and using blocks and items

People to clear things out, maps will be compatible, but they will not have huge mushrooms, npc villages, strongholds and so on. Thats it. Nuff said.

On a more on-topic note, I think that we should see if MCEdit can import the important stuff (spawn, that big mosaic dome that I found yesterday, etc.) and, apart from that, start a new world. Not much else was built, amirite?

I was offering my opinion that we should import the things that have been worked so hard on into a new generated map so we would have what we currently have AND what is coming in 1.8.

oh ok my bad, well Im fine with importing things like the spawn and stuff into a new generated map. Just if everyone else is cool with it too

Well i was trying to build a new town for the 100th time if it isnt enough, and i was trying to build more stuff but i guess, you gotta build more stuff. Guess i gotta build 200 more towns and just keep going then, ill also make 1000 houses that i wont keep either cause apperantly i cant keep anything that i have built =)
